JULY THEME READER’S DIGEST - GOD OF POSSIBILITIES

Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning: great is His faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. Indeed, it is the mercy and faithfulness of God that gave me the privilege to welcome you to the second half of the year and I have every reason to thank God for your life this new month. I believe in my heart that the almighty God that brought you this far will show himself mighty over your life as you wholeheartedly trust him and exercise your faith in him in every situation of life in Jesus name.

Our God is an awesome God, and can do all things. He asked us a rhetorical question in Jeremiah 32:27 ‘I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? Of course not, he can create something from nothing. For example, in the book of Genesis chapter 1 God created the heavens and earth out of nothing. By the words of his mouth all things came to be and all power belong to him. That is why Jesus told us in Matthew 19:26 that with God all things are possible. No doubt about it at all, with God nothing shall be impossible.

In Luke chapter 1, a young girl, a virgin, became pregnant and gave birth to the Son of God. Who else can cause a virgin to become pregnant, without the involvement of a man, and give birth to the Son of God? No one but the God of all possibilities.

In John chapter 11, a man died, buried and 4 days later after he was already decomposing he rose from the grave alive. Who else can raise a dead man of 4days from the grave? No one but the God of all possibilities. With God all things are possible. There is nothing impossible for him. There is nothing too hard for him. There is nothing he cannot do. He is the God of all possibilities

Beloved, with all these in mind let me ask you, what are you calling impossible in your life right now? A sickness that seems impossible to be healed; A financial difficulty that seems impossible to be met; A relationship problem that seems irreparable?

Whatever you are calling impossible, God calls possible. ‘But with God all things are possible’. There is no prayer he can’t answer, Jeremiah 33:3, there is no problem he can’t solve and there is no promise he can’t keep, there’s no storm he can’t calm.

We are however required to believe. Believing God and his word is the challenge believers are facing in the world we live today. Whatever you have the faith to believe for, God can do it. God can turn your impossible situations around if you will just believe Him.

If you can, said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for one who believes” Mark 9:23

No matter what you are passing through, however hopeless the situation may be, Jesus said if you will believe God for his word in that situation then you will have your victory. The case of Lazarus in John 11 is a good example of a hopeless situation but when Jesus stepped into the situation, the almighty God did the impossible and brought back to life he that was dead four days. I pray that you will be divinely positioned and located for God’s miracles this month in Jesus name.

Beloved, the good news for you this month is that the Lord is set to do the impossible in your life and grant you enduring victories in all your ways. As far as God is concerned his words cannot fail. Isaiah 55:10-11. However, you have a path to play and that is to believe.

To believe God requires total obedience to the word of God, trust his word and be a doer of God’s word. James 1:25. Stop going to wrong places to look for help, let your focus be on Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. God honors our faith a lot and he expects his children to exercise faith in Him for without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrew 11:6.

I encourage you to keep trusting him, keep believing him, keep holding on to your faith in him and in due season if you faint not you will see the hand of the Lord moving in your favor and doing the

impossible in your life.

My prayer is that as you look up to him for the miraculous this month of grace, he will show himself mighty in whatever situation you may be passing through and grant all your heart desires in Jesus name.
