GREAT EXPECTATION

Glory be to God for a triumphant entry into the new year. With great joy in my heart and profound gratitude to God, I welcome you to 2021 your year of great greatness, exploits, lifting and fulfillment. The Lord has promised to remember and visit the forgotten and to meet all expectations this New Year. Therefore, let your faith in God be renewed, continue to wait on Him, continue to seek Him diligently with all your heart and let your expectations be made known to Him in prayers.

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off” Proverbs 23:18

It is traditional to have what we call new year resolutions detailing the dos and the don’ts and things that we want God to do for us. Of equal importance is for us to also strategically plan and be committed to doing things that God expects from us. My joy for you is that however great your expectations are; our God is more than able to meet all your expectations whether small or big. Jeremiah 32:27.

Beloved, as we have expectations for God to help us as we go, God also has His expectations for us to discover our purpose and pursue it diligently. In addition, Romans 6:19 tells us that even the entire creation also have their expectations from us. ‘For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God’ Romans 8:19.

Thus, as you expect God to do things for you, God in turn is expecting you to do things for him; so also is your community. However, getting God to be committed to meeting your expectations is contingent on your meeting His own expectations. Let us therefore carefully discover God’s expectations for his children through the Bible and diligently do them. A successful and a stress-free life can be achieved by living a purposeful life and this starts with you knowing your true identity in Christ as his Ambassador.

I pray that this year will be a glorious year and the Lord will fill your mouth with new songs in Jesus name. Do have a prosperous new year in Jesus name.
